I have a HP P1006 USB printer. When I connect the printer into a USB port my WD Sharespace shows that the printer is offline and does not allow me to print. How do I fix the problem so I can print from any of my computers in my network that have the printer installed? The manual doesn’t provide any info.
Various articles I have read indicate that despite WD indicating there is printer support, this “feature” does not work.
This review, although a couple of years old, states the feature doesn’t exist at all.
Thanks for the info. Hopefully WD will be able to change this somehow so it can be done in the future.
As far as I know, the ShareSpace doesn’t support USB Printers. I looked in the manual and didn’t see anything about printers. Where is it showing that the printer is offline? Is it under Advanced/Settings or somewhere else?
