Shares not visible on other PCs

I have MyCloud EX2 Ultra. We have multiple “Shares” one for each member of the family. On my wife’s
Apple Air she can see the shares for “parents” and “son1”. However, on my Dell Windows PC when I map the MYCLOUDEX2ULTRA network drive I can only see “public”, “TimeMachineBAckup” and “Smartware”. What am I doing wrong that I can’t also see “parents” and “son1”?

  • Make sure that you have R/W access to “parents” and “son1” shares.
  • If you added your users to groups, remove them from groups. My Cloud Groups do not work the same as normal user groups in other software platforms.
  • Unmap the share, reboot the computer, login in Windows, access the My Cloud and use your My Cloud EX2 Ultra username and password to access the My Cloud or access the private shares before any public shares.
