Share network another mac

My book is connected in my Mac pro with fire wire 800. in my network i have 2 pc’s and one i mac.

in i mac i found all other external drives and folders but not my ‘‘my book’’, in pc’s are all ok.

Please help

Verify if the drive shows on disk utility

make sure the drive is not password protected

try a different port on the Mac or different cable ( usb )

I am only interested for firewire 800 port
the drive (my book) work perfect in my macpro where is connected and two pc’s which find in my local network
but does not seems in i mac (in local network too)
