Setup stuck on 'Checking your device'

Hi, 

I am trying to install my book live on windows 7 but when running the software it gets 75% of the way through on the ‘checking your device’ and then stops and doesn’t get any further. Even after 15 minutes of waiting. 

I had previously run the system on Ubuntu and I can see the public share on the win 7 computer but can’t seem to install the software. I don’t have anything on the MBL so I don’t mind reseting it if needed.

Any help will be appreciated.

You didn’t specify which program, but have you tried going into the admin page ([device ip]/ui/) and making sure you had “remote access” enabled? Other guess would be to try installing in “safe mode with networking” in case it was a software issue.

Running in safemode solved the issue.
