Settings missing

Hi

I formatted my new my book essential, not knowing the drivers are on it. Then downloades new software 456m. Now i cant use the settings tab. I now get a message application not started from drive. Cant install the smartware. I use windows 7 prof service pack 1.32bit operating system.

please help someone

you can download the SES driver on http://support.wdc.com/product/download.asp?wdc_lang=en on the right side of the screen look for most popular downloads and under that would be WD SES drivers. Download the correct SES driver for your computer. Check first if the OS version of your computer is 32 bit or 64 bit, if 32 bit download x86, if 64 bit download x64.
