Helllo all,

SMB signing is a security mechanism in the SMB protocol and is also
known as security signatures. SMB signing is designed to help improve
the security of the SMB protocol.

I recently suffered problems accessing unsigned smb shares.

Any plan to have My Cloud smb shares signed in My Cloud FW ?

It prevents computers with smb-security enabled to use NAS devices.

I’m not versed on smb signing. But isn’t it an option in a configuration file for samba?
server signing = mandatory
