Hi. I’m considering getting a media player with hard drive, the WDTV Live Hub in particular. My question is regarding the selection of files. Let’s say I had a folder with 1000 video files in it, would each file have a number such as the Title Number on a DVD? And could I, as with a DVD player, select a file by pressing, say, 475 on the remote followed by ‘play’? Plus (and I’d be surprised if this wasn’t the case), once a video or music file has been played to the end, does the next file start playing automatically? Many thanks.
Unfortunately, no, you will not be able to assign a number to your movie and then play them pressing the number code in the remote control.
Regarding your second question. Yes, you can setup the WD TV to play your movies in a sequence.
