Security and Utility Apps Not installing

I recently purchased and setup a WD Cloud home drive. I wish to add a password and encryption to my WD Cloud drive. After downloading and installing both the WD Security and Utilities application, when I double click on both the Security and the Utility icons, a blank window open and the message, “Attach a supported WD drive.”

What is the problem?
