S.M.A.R.T Status Bad, RE4

Hi!

Trying to put together a new system using two 500GB RE4 disks, one of the disks is now failing the SMART test during boot.

WinDlg quicktest failed the first time i tried it, the extended test passed and when i tried the quicktest again it passed (SMART Status is still FAILED)

Is this a harddisk problem or could it be a motherboard/BIOS problem ? (ASUS P8P67 Deluxe)

Any ideas?

/Regards, Johan Rogstadius
