I just purchased 2 My Passport 1.5 TB portable drives. I want to set it up so I can rotate the drives out from weekly to keep one off-site. Will the backup software support this? I did not find this topic in the user manual.
Yes, if you are using smartware it will support both hard drives.
The user manual would not setup that specific scenario, however WD Smartware will recognize both drives and you will be able to rotate the units…
