What file overwrites /etc/samba/smb.conf - I made a root share but it gets overwriting on restart/boot-up thanks.
Hopefully an experienced User will be able to assist.
Check out the following thread: After a reboot everything is reset - is this documented? how to people work around it?. Specifically, in June 2015 jebusx reported that /usr/local/config is where persistent config files are maintained.
