Can you roll back current FW with a Mac?

Yes, but you’ll have to enable SSH which voids warranty.  Once enabled, open terminal type: ssh root@wdmycloud.local (assuming you havent changed device name).  Edit /etc/version to version you want to downgrade (has to be exact) and manually “update” firmware to the version you want to downgrade via Dashboard.
