Can somebody please help me, my hard drive failed after 4 months and i am in the process of sending my hard drive out for a replacement. The packaging instructions say to put hard drive in a electro static discharge bag, i have one from a previous hard drive however the bag is opened. Am i supposed to use the old bag the hard drive was shipped in? Even though it is opened? I don’t want to send it out and have my RMA not accepted and have my hard drive returned to me. Any input is appreciated, thanks in advance!
