i found if i remove my usb memory stick then replace any spaces in folder names for the first two tears the wdtvlive finally saves resume points to my hdd on my pc through network shares :slight_smile:

wierd ehh must be a bug in firmware? if i put spaces back no “.wd_tv” folder

eg: D:\Movie_And_TV\Series_TV  “works”

eg: D:\Movie And TV\Series TVï»żÂ  “no work”

I had the same problem. wdtv did not save the resume points to network drive.

I solved the problem by putting the movies in a sub folder of the share folder.

For example, if you set “path = /home/user” in the smb.conf, you need to create a sub folder in “/home/user” and put the movies there. You might want to delete the .wd_tv folder if one exists.

Note that I use samba to share the network drive.
