Hi guys,
WD MyPassport with WD Smartware version 1.6.4.
Password protected but not encrypted.
A backup on there of a Windows7 laptop.
Accessed above backup from a Windows10 machine, was not asked to type in password to access the backup. (Strange, given I’m sure I had password protected it).
Set a target destination on the Windows10 machine, and ‘retrieved’ an excel file to a specified location on the Window10 laptop (what I mean, is I get the successfull retrieval message in WD Smartware, one file named with the blue tick).
The issue is, the ‘retrieved’ file is not visible in the target destination.
Any ideas of how to resolve this?
