Restore Problem in v 2.4.4

I recently purchases a Surface Pro 3 and need to move files from my WD My Passport external drive.  When I connect the WD drive to my Surface Pro 3, I can see the D drive under Explorer with all the backup folders.  However, when I select the Restore tab under WD Smartware, the backup folders do not show up in the Backed Up Volumes box.  I’m at a loss at how to proceed.

Welcome to the Community.

If WD SmartWare is not showing stored volumes, then i would recommend manually copying the files from your WD Passport into your computer. The WD SmartWare backup folder is the “SWSTOR” folder. The files are not encrypted, and they use a folder structure similar to what you would expect while navigating the C drive.
