Please tell us some more about your computer and WD drive and any messages you get.

I have a HP all in one computer with win 10
I have a WD My Book 1 TB
I used My Book to create a recovery drive and I now I want to use My Book as a regular backup but when I created a recovery drive it decreased the My Book capacity from 1 TB to 359 gb
I erased and formatted My Book but it is still is only 359 gb capacity
I want to restore My Book to 1 TB capacity so I can use it to back up files
please advise
