Hello
I have been backing up my files on my laptop onto WD My Passport. Now my laptop has died and I’ve bought a macbook pro. I have plugged my passport drive into my mac and can see the latest backup but they are all zip files and when I extract them there doesn’t seem to be anything there. I just want to transfer my photos onto my new mac. Can anyone give me some advice please?

If the passport is formatted using the NTFS file system (Used by Windows PC’s), you will only be able to read files from it, but not save new files. If you just used copy and paste to copy your pictures, they should be in the same location and format that you had before.
