Reset password for user account

I created a user account for my son. He backed up his computer to it, and now, of course, forgot his password. Where can I reset his password? I cannot find the info anywhere, and since WD, in their great wisedom, does not allow the device owner, access to the content of users, I cannot get it for him.

Any assistance would be appreciated.

yes, and could not find the info. only found info on how to create and delete.

As I said I don’t own one, but, from what I have read he had to create his own account.
“Once the invitee receives the invitation by email, they will be prompted to create a My Cloud account.”
and then under Change My Cloud Account Password he needs to change his password.

That’s the way I read it.

Make sure he reads this.

Change My Cloud Account Password Caution! Changing the password for a My Cloud account will affect the login password for the My Cloud Home mobile app, My Cloud Home desktop app and the MyCloud.com web app. This process is not the same as the Set Passcode feature in the My Cloud Home mobile app.

He forgot his password. I just noticed, the password to home.mycloud.com is the same, so he can just click on “forgot password.”
