Replacement drive failed just 2 days after 'warranty' expired

I had to RMA a WD Green 2TB drive a few months back due to SMART Read Error Rate being through the roof…the replacement drive I got worked fine up until a few days ago. Here is what SMART tells me on the drive…

I tried to run an offline test but it stalled at 90% remaining for 2 days…figured I may as well RMA the drive - turns out the warranty on the replacement drive just literally expired (May 14th to be specific…just havent had time to get around to it). So am I just basicly screwed? I don’t mind using re-cert drives as long as they don’t do this…which is take a **bleep** only days after the RMA period ends. Is there any way to have the warranty extended to cover this incident? Thanks for any replies…not sure who to contact about this

i am just a simple user like you but when did you rma the drive in the first place??
