I was wondering if anyone knows if it is possible to get a replacement casing for the My Book Studio Edition II?

the original case for my client has been damaged and we need to replace it for him, or are we stuck with buying a brand new My Book and just swapping the drives?

I realize that the My Book will still work without a case, it’s just that our client wants a new casing for the device.

I believe WD has said elsewhere that they do not sell cases for their external drives.

The only thing I can suggest beyond merely buying a new one, is to look around and see if anyone’s popped their case open and installed the drive as an internal SATA and are offering the empty case for sale.
