Replace failure disk with greater capacity

Hello guys! Can i replace the failure disk with a greater capacity new one? I have 4 X 2TB disks and the setup is two volumes in raid 1 array.

Hi harpg13,

It is recommended to replace the failed drive with the same capacity of drive. However, you can replace the drive in the My Cloud EX4 enclosure with the higher capacity of drive but the drive can be utilized upto 2TB under RAID 1 array after the RAID rebuilding and the remaining space of the drive cannot be used.

You can refer the link given below to know the steps to replace the drive in the My Cloud EX4 enclosure.
