is there away to remove access to Youtube or other links so that my children are restricted to local + nas content only? is this possible through themes or another process on the live hub?
No, it’s not possible on the Hub… But what I do is block the kids’ WDTV Live’s at the router’s firewall.
Works perfectly; all I have to do is remember to deactivate the rule when I’m ready to update firmware.
That was a wonderful idea until i found out the the Vonage router I am using does not allow parental control. So I purchsed a netgear router and added it to the network and now I have 2 networks running. One with access to everything and the other restricted.
