I have recently setup my device and have a dynamic host with no-ip.com. I have enabled dyndns on my router and have set the MyCloud as a dmz host.
I want to give a friend access via the internet to his shares that I have created.
He is using Windows10.
Do I have to use Port Forwarding on the Icloud Ultra? I have tried enabeling port forwarding but problems persist.
If I try ftp://ftp.myhost.net via Windows Explorer I cannot connect. I can access other sites so the problem appears to be with my setup.
Do I have to enable dyndns support on both devices or on my router only?
I can access the ftp site via a command prompt and by third-party software.
Can I map my device as a drive on a remote machine via a dynamic host and if so how?
