I set up a port forward and successfully got remote access to the device. But after a few hours when I open wd2go.com, I see my MBL on the page, but I can not open my shares. When I click the device’s picture on the page, the admin login page won’t load, and I get the response “Safari can’t open the page … because server isn’t responding”. I’ve checked up remote access setting on the dashboard, it shows me “Connection Status: Connected, Port forwarding connection established.” If I reboot the device, the remote access is restored, but a few hours later the problem occurs again. The firmware is up to date.
Safari? Are you usng a Mac, or a mobile device? If you’re using a mobile device, that WD 2go doesn’t work with that. You’ll need the WD 2go app.
