External drive connected to router shows recycle bin when viewed through File Explorer. I’ve tried to remove it, but it’s always there. I’ve also reset and reformatted my computer, still, it’s there. So, it’s not a Windows issue, there’s something wrong with the Easystore drive. I have a lot of data stored on it, I just don’t want to have to reformat.
Is there a safe workaround?
Drives don’t create files by themselves! It’s not the drive that’s at fault, it’s your PC.
If you haven’t turned off Recycle Bin function on your PC for that drive, it will recreate it any time you delete a file.
