Recover user files Openmediavault installation

Hi. I’ve been using Mycloud with the OpenMediaVault installation for a year without a problem and two days ago it stopped working with the white light solid.
What is the best way to recover it without losing my user files:

TFTP to put back the OMV install ?
Connect an external USB HDD and (vía TFTP) mount the drive and copy the user files
get an external USB 3.5 drive enclosure and connect it to my laptop and copy the files with a linux live USB drive boot?
