I unfortunately had the Plex setting to permit the delete of files from the NAS, enabled. I erroneously deleted a media file from within Plex and although U have the WD MyCloud Recycle Bin activated, this media file was not included in the Recycle Bin.
I’ve scoured the NAS using SSH but cannot find the deleted file.
Any chance the deleted file is sitting in a special hidden folder somewhere…?
Recycle bin only applies to samba shares (e.g. a mapped drive in windows explorer)
Plex removed the file directly. It’s gone.
