Reading exFAT USB devices?

Hello, I found out that my WD DL2100 NAS USB port at the front doesn’t work with external hard disks with exFAT at all. Did I misconfigure anything or it is just not supported at all?

That USB port only support HSF+ and NTFS it does not support exFAT file system.
