Read Firmware in Mac OS X?

I have (4) WD WD20 EARS 2TB hard drives that are not meshing well in a RAID configuration and needed to be able to see if the drives have the same firmware version. Is there a way to view this info in the Mac OS? Thanks :smiley:

Thanks but since the drives are connected by either USB or Firewire it will not show SMART status. Is there another way? Thanks again.
