RAID 1 w/Encryption -- Error: No Volume Found

I set up the MyCloud with RAID 1 and encryption. I set the auto mount option to OFF. When it finished, the dashboard shows zero capacity. When attempting to create a share, I receive message, “No Volume Found.” At no point was I asked for the encryption password.

Question: Where does one enter the encryption password to mount the volume?

Hi there,

Try to restart the device, once restarted, check if you get prompted for the encryption password.

I found the answer after checking every option in the Dashboard. You will not get prompted automatically upon reboot.

From the Dashboard, go to Storage-->Volume Encryption-->Mount.

This information is not found in Help or in the manual.

Im facing the same problem! I’ve just done what you said but my files havent shown yet.
