Quick / Full format? - My Passport for Mac

Hi,

Does anyone know whether it is a full or quick format that is performed when resetting a passport drive using the WD Drive security app?

It should be a quick format as I know of. If you see it takes more then 30 minutes after password reset then it is doing a full format.
