Have you contacted support or found any information on this? I am interested in this app as well.

I need the Smartvue App, too.

I calles WD in Germany - they told me the App is not available.

I bought EX2 because of the integration of Smartvue…

When will it be available for Customers…?

I too want this app. Please support us WD.

To David: wow how did you find the Dashboard demo link? If I had seen that before buying, I would have gotten more questions answered, and would have been more inclined to buy.

WD should be spreading the word about the Dashboard demo, and encouraging reviewers to share the link too.

I also saw the demo after i bought my EX2 :frowning: … problem is that after that  i also saw the demos of other competitors  and start crying inside a little :angry:

oh :(. Can you give me the links? Im curious.

And were the competitors of equal level units, or were they higher grade comparisions that you were disapointed in?

I heard that the WD interface is better than the Seagate interface. So Im at least happy about that.

 I have found no way to create an Account or to Download the Software…

Now I got  an answer from Smartvue`s Support:

Hi,
I regret to inform you that the Smartvue app for the Western Digital EX2 NAS has been cancelled at this time and is not available. If you are interested in Smartvue for recording your video we do offer other solutions that our sales team would be glad to discuss with you. Please let us know if you would like someone to make contact in order to discuss the other available options and what method of contact will be best.

I think this is not very funny. I bought EX2 just because of the Smartvue App.
