Put a second 6TB hd in my wd cloud dl4100

I will place a second 6TB hd in my dl4100. There is 1 already working in it with data on it. Can i after the new hd is placed change from raid0 to raid1 without loosing my configuration and data? If i have to start again after placing the second hd how can i backup (if that is possible) my settings and how can i replace them after installing the second HD . I am new to this nas server or any server at all, so is there someone who can guide me plz

I recommend you read pages: 58 and 94 of the user’s manual.

After you insert your second hard drive. Use the RAID 1 migration option. You will not loose your data. But it is better to backup your data first.

jebusx , you have right . I put the second HD in after making a backup and start migration from raid 0 to raid1. After 12 hours it was ready and work. No data loosing.
