I am 80 so and bought what I thought was just a USB external HD. It says my passport onit with p/n wdbaa3200apr-do.
Is there way to use this in that manner. Thank you
If you don’t want the Smartware and password protection software there is no need to install it and don’t update the Firmware. You will get prompted to install SES driver click yes and another driver if prompted. Then it should be ready to use like a plain drive.
