My cameras had protective film on the IR lens which I would not have even noticed had I not seen it in an old Topic in WD Community. Does the company review these topics and address Quality Control problems like this?
Maybe add it to the Setup documentation?
Plus how come the IR is protected but not the main lens?

What does this have to do with my comment about protective lens film?
