Protected Public Share using Win7 but unprotected using w 2go

Hi, I managed to protect my public share in MBL using instructions from  here and all worked well. I was unable to delete a public share file using win7.  I then tried to delete a file using w2go android app and I was able to delete a file.

This seems odd since I assumed the protection would apply to all methods of deleting files…

Any ideas?

No.  

All you modified using that guide are SAMBA controls.

WD 2go uses WebDAV access, which has its own security mechanisms.
