Protect 50% of my WD with WD security. It's possible?

Hello,

I would like crypt 50% of my external WD (for example I would like create two partition one my WD: one protected with a password and a second without password)

Indeed the aim is to protect my personnal data with a password (for example with WD security program) and use the second partition to share data like musics or movies

It’s possible and can you describe the process?

Hi,

I think it is not possible since the WD security is a hardware encription.

So if you use the WD security you will need to unlock the drive so you can use it.
