Im having some serious problems with my drive, my drive was working well two days ago until my laptop battery ran down with the drive coonnected. When the laptop was recharged the drive wasn’t reading and is still not showing up in My Computer. I can hear it spinning as normal but all it does is just blinks and flashes every 5 seconds. I have alot of things that would be needed.Can anyone offer any advice to solving this problem. Thanks in advance.
The drive is probably corrupt, does it show in Disk Management? Something like this http://www.easeus.com/datarecoverywizard/ might fix it. Or TestDisk http://www.cgsecurity.org/wiki/TestDisk. then there is data recovery software Recuva is free http://www.piriform.com/recuva There is other data recovery that is try and buy. You can recover a small amount to see if it works vefore buying.
