Problems ordering files with numbers at the beginning

We are trying to list around 50 files which begin with numbers: 1, 2, 3, 4, 5,etc.   When sort by name is clicked in the WD cloud software, the files are ordered 1, 12,13,14,15,16,17,18,19,2,21, (so all numbers beginning with 1 then all beginning with 2, and so on) instead of in numerical order: 1,2,3,4,etc.   Is this a bug, is there a way to fix this our end?

Since the titles are text fields and not number fields, the files will be sorted 1, 10, 11, 12…2, 20, 21, 22, etc. 

The only way I know around this is to number your files 01, 02, 03, 04…10, 11, 12, 15…
