Problem with WD My book live

hi

i just buy my book live 1tb Home network storage today

i got problem with installation

first i run the cd and read the manual cleary.

then i see the drive Z inside my computer and i see shared folder its working, after i try to copy 1 file to shared folder

my pc start to hangs and sudenly my livebook network folder disconnect.

i go see the lid at mylivebook its green. but its not detec on computer anymore i nrrd to restart it if u wan to use it again

but when i try to copy again its happend again. any idead what going on here?

when i try to copy file more than 10mb my pc will hangs and connection to MyBookLive Will lost kindly see the screen shot that i upload.
im using TD-W8951ND TP-LINK rounter now. Please i need the solution asap. thanks

I think the Samba server in the drive has a few issues. I tried using Microsoft’s SyncToy to transfer loads of data and issues arose. Ended up crafting a DOS comment to copy a lot of files, using a pre-defined list, one at a time with worked very well.  Me thinks if one wants a lot more then better go for a proper server.

Really odd… Have you tried connecting to MB Live with some other computer? How is your current computer (that keeps getting the error) connected to your TP-Link router, wired or wireless?
