Problem with Screen Ratio and Scale

Hi!

I have bought a WD TV Live (Model C3H) and have some troubles with the resolution on my TV.

It’s a full HD Samsung and works without any problem.

But the WD have some scale or resolution issues. Maybe there are some tweaks but at the moment it’s really annoying

Scale 100% results in missing parts on the screen (e.g. Clock)

If i set scale to 85% i see everything but get big black bars on right and left side

is there any solution for this?

It’s called “Overscan” and your Samsung TV is doing it.

Enable " Just Scan" in your HDMI input picture settings

(as per the support link below… most definately sounds like you have the Samsung HDMI set to 16:9 which has Overscan)
