can anyone help me with my WD Essencial because i had day that 1 bougth this but when i update the program my macbook pro do not reconize my wd after i updated before i updated my wd in the wd were lights flashing and now nothing flash just only one little light in above the lock light
I apologize but it’s a little hard to read your post. It sounds like you may have done a firmware update on the drive? If not, what type of update are you referring to? It sounds like the firmware update failed on the unit. You may need to replace the unit. I would try running the firmware again and possibly try updating the firmware on a Windows based computer. Windows and Mac communicate with drives differently and Windows may be able update the firmware when the Mac is not detecting it.
