I bought My Book Mirror edition 2 TB today, but my windows 7 64B can only find 1 TB, what is wrong can anybody help me?

RAID 1 MIRROS THE CONTENTS OF THE DISK MAKING A FORM OF 1:1 RATIO REALTIME BACKUP THE CONTENTS OF THE DISK IN THE ARRAY ARE IDENTICAL TO THAT OF EVERY OTHER DISK IN THE ARRAY.DURING THE WRITING PROCESS IT COPY’S THE DATA IDENTICALLY TO BOTH DRIVES.
that means i can only use 1 TB on this one?
I have the same problem. When I plug it in and turn on computer it says it’s ready but I can’t find it anywhere. Windows explorer or elsewhere
Advantage of RAID1 (1TB) is in case 1 drive goes bad, your data is not lost as same data gets copied to 2nd drive.
Advantage of RAID0 (2TB) is twice the size, but lacks RAID1 advantage.
You can change from RAID 1 to RAID0 by simply using supplied WD Drive manager to change RAID mode.
Please note, your data will be wiped.

Please check Disk manager and make sure it is formatted to NTFS.
