PR4100 and WD Sync

I wanted to know if anyone knows what happens if a hard drive goes bad in the PR4100 as far as WD Sync goes? In the software it warns you that if files are deleted on the PR4100 it also deleted them on the local PC’s hard drive too!!! So what is the expected result if a hard drive crashes in the PR4100 and WD Sync sees that now the files are gone because of the corruption on the 4100? Anyone done any direct testing accidental or on purpose?

if one of the RAID configured drive failed in My Cloud PR4100 enclosure, you can use new drive and Rebuild Raid to get data back in new drive. You can refer below link for further details:
