PR4100 4K Support?

I have a 4K Vizio P series and wondered if the PR4100 supported streaming 4K media through Plex?

I have already asked the Plex admins and they said their software can support it as long as the hardware the PMS is running from is powerful enough to do so.

Is this possible?

Its possible as long as the client supports the format the 4K video you are sending it. Meaning no transcoding required via plex server but if your TV supports Direct Playing the 4K file it would work fine. I think it would choke if it needed to doing any transcoding
