PR2100 Not Enough Space with 5.4TB free?

Hi,

I was copying all me files to my new PR2100 using SMB. I have a 4tb disk and a 5tb disk. I have my system configured as a JBOD. Here is my disk layout.

root@MyCloudPR2100 /mnt # df -h
Filesystem Size Used Available Use% Mounted on
mdev 1.9G 8.0K 1.9G 0% /dev
/dev/loop0 104.4M 104.4M 0 100% /usr/local/modules
/dev/mmcblk0p6 18.4M 731.0K 16.2M 4% /usr/local/tmp_wdnas_config
tmpfs 1.0M 0 1.0M 0% /mnt
tmpfs 40.0M 4.8M 35.2M 12% /var/log
tmpfs 100.0M 1.5M 98.5M 1% /tmp
/dev/sdb4 928.9M 64.0K 912.8M 0% /mnt/HD_b4
/dev/sda4 928.9M 1.0M 911.9M 0% /mnt/HD_a4
/dev/sdb2 3.6T 3.5T 0 100% /mnt/HD/HD_a2
/dev/sda2 5.4T 4.3M 5.4T 0% /mnt/HD/HD_b2
cgroup 1.9G 0 1.9G 0% /sys/fs/cgroup

I now see the problem. When initializing the disk, I see that the PR2100 created two partitions from the 6tb dis. When I look at the Dashboard, it just says I have two disks (4tb and 6tb) and nothing about partitions.

I would prefer one big 6tb disk but at the very least how do I access the second partition. Or, was it a mistake going with JBOD? If I go RAID will I lose a bunch of space to redundancy. I’m not that confident in RAID. The Dashboard does not explain this at all?

Thanks.

Never mind, User Error here. I accidently created my SMB share on the smaller 4tb disk rather than the larger 6tb disk. Sorry for the trouble.
