Power/Activity LED - Slow flashing at Standby

External Drive - My Passport (Mac + Studio)  WDBAAE6400ASL

I need a solution to switch off the slow flashing Power/Activity LED at Standby . The LED is also slow flashing, even if the computer is switched off. There is now way to switch off the LED using WD software. The only way at the moment, unplug the drive or the computer. This is not a user-friendly solution.
Dear engineers at WDC please open a feature request to implement an option at your soft- or firmware to disable the slow flashing Power/Activity LED at Standby.
