We are a small business (5 users) and we currently have an old Dell desktop set up to act as our “file server”. Basically it’s used to store common documents, photographs and databases. We don’t actually run any applications from the server. All programs are locally installed but the database files are on the server (Access, Act!, etc.).
Would this WD My Book Live function in place of our “file server”?
Really all we’d need to be able to do is map it to be drive “N” and I’m thinking it should work.
