Post downgrade problems

I have downgraded my 2TB wdmycloud to sq-030401-230-20140415.deb.  After the initail reboot I had admin/admin access to the UI, so turned on SSH access.  All my shares and data are still on the drive after the downgrade  I now have a couple of problems;

1 - After the reboot my shares are still present, but none of the shares are present in the UI.  Can you just manually add the existing shares to the /etc/fstab, if so does anyone have an example fstab file?

2 - I subsequently rebooted and I am now locked out of the UI (still have SSH access), I can see users in the /etc/users and /etc/passwd, but these users are not being authenticated through the web browser pointed at the wdmycloud.

Any pointers appreciated.

Try a “System Only Restore”

Resetting with Power Off:

  1. At the same time as you plug power into the WD My Cloud device, press the Reset button and hold for about 40 seconds. The device undergoes a system restore and powers on.
  2. No data is lost.
